As well as holding regular meetings, the APG-WPS operates through the varous procedures at the disposal of our parliamentary members to keep women, peace and security issues on the parliamentary agenda.

September 2009 To follow up some of the points raised during the APG meeting on widowhood in July 2009, Joint Chair Anne Milton MP wrote to the Foreign Secretary
October 2009 When new Ministerial responsibilities at the Foreign Office were announced, Joint Chair of the APG wrote to Baroness Kinnock who took over responsibility for women, peace and security.
February 2010 Joint Char of the APG, Anne Milton MP, wrote to the Minister for Women and Equality ahead of her visit to the Commission on the Status of Women in New York.
