Gender Action for Peace and Security (GAPS) is the UK’s Women, Peace and Security network, bringing together 17 international NGOs and a global Women, Peace and Security Community Network of grassroots women’s rights and civil society organisations.

We work across the UK and internationally to advance gender equality, peace, security and the rights of women, girls and marginalised groups in all contexts. As an expert and influential network, we hold governments to account and drive forward gender-responsive peace and security.

The Women, Peace and Security agenda recognises that gender equality, and the rights and leadership of women and girls, are essential to achieving lasting peace and security.

Gender. Peace. Security. Rights.
