GAPS is a membership network of 17 international NGOs and civil society organisations working across women’s and girls’ rights, gender equality, peace and security, development, humanitarian action and human rights.

Our members bring diverse expertise and perspectives, and together we coordinate collective policy, advocacy and learning to advance the Women, Peace and Security agenda in the UK and globally.

1. Complete the application form below which will be reviewed by the GAPS team.

2. If your application is accepted, you will be sent a secure payment link to complete payment for the first year of fees.

GAPS offers different levels of membership for individuals and organisations. Both organisational and individual members can:

  • Participate in shaping the UK’s women, peace and security policy and programmes. We are in consistent and ongoing communication with WPS policy makers and parliamentarians to influence WPS decision-making. Members regularly share insights for the GAPS Secretariat to reflect in our engagement with decision-makers and, where relevant, participate directly in consultation processes and meetings.

  • Access networking and professional development opportunities with other organisations and individuals working on WPS issues.

  • Attend events hosted by GAPS and, where possible, our partner organisations.

  • Contribute to GAPS research and publications, including authoring blog posts for our website.

  • Engage with our members-only mailing list to share news, events and requests.

Exclusively for organisational members:

  • Sponsorship of GAPS events.

  • Display of your organisational logo and a description of your work on the GAPS website.

  • Attend high-level meetings with government and parliamentarians.
