On Monday 2 April 2026, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Women, Peace and Security held its annual general meeting.
The meeting was Chaired by Sir Desmond Swayne MP and attended by: Baroness Northover; Tracy Gilbert MP; Baroness Blower; Baroness D’Souza; Kirsteen Sullivan MP; Baroness Sugg; Baroness Hodgson; Baroness Hussein-Ece; Baroness Healy; Baroness Coussins; and Wendy Chamberlain MP.
During the meeting officers of the APPG were elected. They are:
Chair – Tracy Gilbert MP
Co-Chair – Baroness Fiona Hodgson
Vice-Chair – Kirsteen Sullivan
Vice-Chair – Lord McConnell

Members discussed areas of focus for the APPG in the coming year and how Parliamentarians can continue to advance the WPS agenda.
