Women in Diplomacy

On 10th December 2025, the APPG on Women Peace & Security held an event in collaboration with Women in Diplomacy to celebrate not only Human Rights Day but also the 25th Anniversary of the Women, Peace & Security agenda.  

It gave an opportunity to hear from other countries how UN Security Council Resolution 1325 has helped to improve women’s rights and there was also a discussion on how women’s rights are rolling back around the world.

This event was very well attended by women Ambassadors in London.

Special thanks were given to HE Sanja Stiglic, the Ambassador of Slovenia, who helped with this event and also to to HE Ximena Fuentes, Ambassador of Chile & President of the Women in Diplomacy Network.
